American rapper King Vaughn killed in Atlanta shooting
Rapper King Vaughn was killed in a shooting in a nightclub garage in Atlanta, Georgia, authorities said Saturday.
King Vaughn, 26, whose real name is Devon Bennett, died early Friday, as did another person, in which four other people were shot dead, according to the Georgia State Federal Police, which is in charge of investigating the incident.
The incident occurred during a scuffle between two groups of youths, later involving a deserving Atlanta policeman who worked at the nightclub and another policeman who was patrolling near the site, firing their weapons for a “cease-fire”.

“Our investigators believe that King Vaughn was shot during the first shooting between two groups of men, before police responded and tried to stop the shooting,” Atlanta police said in a statement.

The rapper was taken to a hospital in a private car, but died of gunshot wounds, while police arrested two people in connection with the incident.
King Vaughn is from Chicago, starting his rap career after moving to Atlanta, and thought a promising artistic future awaited him, and released his latest album Welcome To O’Block a week ago.
