Trump sacks Chris Krebs after opposing widespread allegations of election fraud
US President Donald Trump sacked Director of the Agency for Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Chris Krebs, justifying this that Chris made extremely inaccurate statements about the integrity of the elections.
Chris had said on social media, saying:”Regarding allegations related to tampering with election systems, 59 election security experts agree, that in every case we were informed of, it was found that all these allegations are either not supported by evidence or are not technically consistent.”
A source at the house told the White House that Chris received the news of his dismissal with a welcome source, saying that he was honored to serve in this position and that he was sure that he did the right thing, and added, “He defended today to be safe tomorrow.”
