The woman who was shot dead inside the US Capitol building on Wednesday was identified as Ashley Babbitt, a friend of an international channel confirmed. Babbitt was a 14-year-old veteran soldier who served four rounds with the Air Force and resided in San Diego, according to media reports.

Her husband told WTTG-TV that Babbitt was a staunch supporter of President Trump.
“I really don’t know why she decided to do this,” said Mother-in-law Babbitt to her subsidiary in the capital.
